Tooth Sensitivity: Cause, Prevention and Treatment: At <strong>Meraki</strong> <strong>Dental</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> we see many<br />

mostly refer to the pa<strong>in</strong> that is stimulated by eat<strong>in</strong>g hot or cold foods, dr<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g hot or cold dr<strong>in</strong>ks,<br />

consum<strong>in</strong>g sweets, or even by breath<strong>in</strong>g cold air from the mouth. When speak<strong>in</strong>g of tooth sensitivity,<br />

we do not refer to the <strong>in</strong>tense pa<strong>in</strong> that might feel <strong>in</strong> the mouth due to caries, fractures or <strong>in</strong>fections.<br />

What causes Sensitive Teeth?<br />

Either your gums or teeth are to be blamed if eat<strong>in</strong>g cold, hot or sweet foods causes you discomfort.<br />
