When a prospective franchisee arrives<br />

for an initial meeting with a franchisor,<br />

they’ve usually done plenty of research into<br />

franchising and, more specifically, the brand<br />

they’re considering.<br />

Thanks to Google and magazines like What<br />

<strong>Franchise</strong>, their initial thirst for knowledge<br />

can easily be quenched. There are still some<br />

basic facts, however, that franchisors should<br />

cover with potential franchisees at these<br />

first meetings.<br />

A decent franchisor will take the time to go<br />

over the basic facts before the relationship<br />

begins, so the prospective franchisee is<br />

aware of the realities of being a franchise<br />

business owner.<br />

their franchise than selling them; a bad<br />

franchisee can cause havoc in the brand,<br />

HOW TO GET THERE<br />

BY TUBE<br />

The Jubilee Line is recommended as the quickest route to ExCeL<br />

London. Alight at Canning Town and change onto a Becktonbound<br />

DLR train, for the quick journey to Prince Regent for<br />

ExCeL (East). The DLR also stops at Custom House for ExCeL<br />

(West) and the event is reachable via this station, however the<br />

Prince Regent for ExCeL (East) is located significantly nearer to<br />

the show entrance and we recommend using this stop.<br />

BY RAIL<br />

As the Capital of the United Kingdom, London is connected<br />

by rail to all major cities in Great Britain. In addition Eurostar<br />

operate regular train services to Brussels and Paris operating<br />

from St Pancras <strong>International</strong>.<br />
