Another beloved day camp in Northbrook is ‘Z’ Frank Apachi, a place North Shore children have claimed as their summer home for decades. The private, 10-acre campus with wide open green spaces includes a brand-new playground, two large heated pools, tennis courts, athletic fields, a climbing wall and art studio. Spending the summer at Apachi encourages children to grow as friends, strengthen Jewish identity and gain confidence in themselves. This year, the fun keeps going with our newest J Camp, BIG IDEA, in Northbrook (and we could not be more excited!). BIG IDEA offers 13 technology workshops to choose from — including everything from coding and robotics to animation and app development — and empowers campers to uncover new interests and follow their passions.
