The registration fee is $15.00 for spayed/neutered dogs and $20.00 for intact dogs. After March 31st non registered dogs are subject to a late fee of $10.00 for each month or part thereof said license is issued after March 31st (Ipswich Town By-laws Ch. XV, Sec 5). Licensing can be done in person during regular business hours or by mail. Application/renewal forms are enclosed with the Annual Census. Contact, Lion Don Carey at 978-384-8535. ------------------------------------------------------------ NEWBURYPORT – “Yoga for a Cause” is the name of an event being planned by the Greater Newburyport/Bura Alliance, the sister city organization which connects Newburyport and nearby towns with Bura, Kenya. GNBA member, Mary Hargraves, a Boxford resident, is a certified Yoga instructor who teaches at Buddhaful Souls Yoga Studio in Rowley. She will lead a one-hour Gentle Yoga class at the Studio on Sunday, March 11 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Free will donations will be accepted to support GNBA’s projects which support education for orphans in Bura. Pre-registration is encouraged as class size is limited to 25. Participants can register at the Studio’s website www.buddhaflsoulsyogastudio.com or by calling 978-948-3308. Mrs. Hargrave notes that gentle yoga is safe and accessible to all students. It is ideal for senior, students with special conditions or injuries and beginners. Each class begins with a centering and breathing techniques. The poses are designed fo gentle joint mobility and stretching and strengthening of muscles. She adds, “You will leave refreshed, relaxed and renewed in body and spirit.” GNBA is particularly interest in education. It raises funds to purchase school uniforms for orphans and vulnerable children and helps pay their school fees. The sessions will be opened by Hope’s Associate Pastor of Care, Dennis Gill, and led by experienced lay leaders who have lived through grief and want to help others through the difficult grief process. It is made up of a combination of video presentations, small group discussions and workbook exercises. Other passes available include the Museum of Science, Museum of Fine Arts, Children’s Museum Boston, John F.
