was one of the best periods
of my life as a sax player.
Starting in the early 70’s with “Band On
The Run” and being asked to tour on the
first and second world tours.
Also recording “Wings At The Speed of
Sound” “Wings Over America”
In 1960 Howie formed the Liverpool band Howie Casey & the Seniors, they
went to Germany and this started the Rock & roll connection between
Hamburg and Liverpool. This paved the way for many bands
including The Beatles to go to Hamburg, Howie and his band regularly
played with The Beatles and also had Stuart Sutcliffe as a member
of the Seniors. Howie and The Seniors were also Liverpool’s first
R & R band to record with a major record label (Fontana).
Howie has also appeared on many more Albums with Artists including
ABC, Mark Bolan (T.Rex), Paice Ashton Lord (PAL), Elkie Brooks,
John Entwistle, Ringo Starr, Cliff Richard, The Who (Quadrophenia,
Tommy) and countless other recording sessions.

It was a very special night Howie, the band looked like they were having a great time and
the audience responded as only a Kyps crowd can! Such a shame about Kyps closing let’s

Always my great pleasure Howie Casey. All you guys played an absolute blinder last night
and the atmosphere was electric the entire evening. Everyone on their feet enjoying themselves,
watching three hours of sheer talent on stage for just a tenner! It was a particularly
nice surprise for me to see Myles up on stage - I hadn't seen him for over 25 years! Rock on

Just got home from such a great gig at Howie Casey's Beatles with Wings show. Was so
good. Every song was either by The Beatles or Wings. Everyone had a great time. Well done.
The Barrington Theatre The best show we have had here in many years, the performance
and musicianship is fabulous. They will be back a night not to be missed.
Westbourne Christmas Festival Wonderful open air gig. We loved hearing these
great songs played with such passion.
