now offering a take back<br />
scheme for all portable<br />
waste batteries. You<br />
can return your waste batteries<br />
to our distribution depot at<br />
Kleeneze Ltd., Unit M1, Heywood<br />
Distribution Park, Pilsworth Road,<br />
Heywood, Lancashire OL10 2TR in<br />
person (PLEASE DO NOT POST).<br />
Alternatively, you can find your local<br />
waste portable battery recycling<br />
facility at ‘www.recyclenow.com’.<br />
Most supermarkets and shops that<br />
sell batteries will have collection bins<br />
for used batteries, and some town<br />
halls, libraries or schools may also<br />
set up collection points. End-users<br />
may find stores in their local area<br />
more accessible.<br />
Due to the Government<br />
regulations called Waste<br />
Electrical and Electronic<br />
Equipment (WEEE) all battery<br />
and electrical equipment<br />
sold by Kleeneze will carry the<br />
wheelie bin symbol. Items carrying<br />
this symbol should not be disposed<br />
of in normal household waste. The<br />
WEEE regulations are designed<br />
to reduce waste production and<br />
improve the environment. Kleeneze<br />
is part of the Valpak DTS recycling<br />
scheme. To find your nearest<br />
disposal site please go to ‘www.<br />
recycle-more.co.uk’ and use the<br />
Bank locator by entering your post<br />
code, or you can dispose of your<br />
WEEE goods in your local Civic<br />
Amenity site. Most supermarkets<br />
