Ingredients<br />

2 cups flour<br />

1/2 cup peanut butter<br />

2 eggs<br />

1/4 cup water<br />

1) Preheat your oven to 180°C.<br />

2) Mix together flour, peanut butter & eggs in a large bowl until slightly<br />

combined.<br />

3) Add in one tbsp. of water at a time until the mixture becomes wet<br />

enough to roll out as dough.<br />

4) Roll out your dough and cut out your nibbles with some cookie<br />

cutters (of your choice).<br />

5) Place your treats onto your baking sheet and cook for approx. 15<br />

minutes. For added crunch, wait till the bottoms start to darken.

1) Preheat oven to 190°C.<br />

2) Fry the bacon in a frying pan. Let it cool on some<br />

paper towel and chop it into small pieces.<br />

Ingredients<br />

3 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour<br />

1 egg<br />

2 tbsp. sunflower oil<br />

1 cup grated cheddar cheese<br />

1 large apple, grated<br />

2 tbsp. dry parsley<br />

3 pieces bacon, chopped<br />

1 cup of water<br />

3) Mix some egg, oil and water together in a small bowl.<br />

4) In a large bowl, mix the flour and dry parsley.<br />

5) Mix both your bowls together, and add in the cheese, apple and bacon.<br />

Mix it well and knead with your hands if necessary.<br />

6) Roll out mix onto a floured counter and use a cookie cutter to cut out<br />

your treats and place on cookie sheets, bake for 20-30 mins.<br />

1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line 2 baking sheets with<br />

parchment.<br />

2. Combine the flour, wheat germ, brewer's yeast, and salt in a<br />

large bowl. Pour the canola oil in a large bowl and add flour<br />

mixture to oil in 3 additions, alternating with 1 cup stock; mix<br />

•2 cups flour<br />

•1/2 cup wheat germ<br />

•1/2 cup brewer's yeast<br />

•2 teaspoons salt<br />

•3 tbsp. canola oil<br />

•1 1/2 cups of low-sodium<br />

chicken stock<br />

until combined.<br />

3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2 minutes (the dough will be<br />

sticky). Roll out the dough and cut out circles using a cookie cutter, then place<br />

them on the baking sheets.<br />

4. Make an indentation toward the bottom of 1 circle using your thumb, then<br />

press the dough to make an arch of 4 small circles on top of the thumbprint<br />

using the tip of your pinkie. Repeat.<br />

5. Freeze for 15 minutes then bake for 20 minutes, brush with remaining ½ cup<br />

chicken stock then turn the oven off, and let it stand in the oven for 40<br />

minutes.

3 cups almond flour<br />

1 egg<br />

1 cup plain, unsweetened<br />

applesauce<br />

1) Preheat oven to 180 °C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.<br />

2) Beat the eggs and set aside.<br />

3) Mix the applesauce and almond flour in a large bowl.<br />

4) Pour 1 tbsp. of the egg into a bowl and set aside then pour the rest of<br />

the egg into the bowl with mixed ingredients and stir the mixture until a<br />

dough forms.<br />

5) Take a two-tablespoon-size piece of dough and roll it into a tube then<br />

take each tube and make into a "U" shape, then twist the ends together<br />

and fold back to the top to make a pretzel shape.<br />

6) Place the pretzels onto the baking tray and brush the top of each<br />

pretzel with the remaining egg.<br />

7) Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, until they're slightly browned and<br />

firm then remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.<br />

1) Bake Sweet Potatoes in oven for 50 mins<br />

(200°C).<br />

2) Pell the potatoes when cool and blend<br />

with all the dry ingredients in a food<br />

processor/ blender.<br />

3) Add wet ingredient and bled again.<br />

4) Place mixture in an ice cream maker and<br />

follow the manufacturers instructions, if you<br />

don’t have an ice cream maker then place in a<br />

tub in the freezer.<br />

Ingredients<br />

2 Sweet Potatoes<br />

1 cup of Yogurt<br />

1/3 cup Molasses<br />

½ tsp Cinnamon<br />

¼ tsp Ginger grated<br />

This is super ¼ tsp Turmeric<br />

yummy! Sweet 2 Egg Yolks<br />

Potato helps us<br />

with our joints, so<br />

its even better!<br />

1 (4 ounce) jar baby food<br />

6 ½ tsp. dry milk powder<br />

6 ½ tsp Cream of Wheat<br />

1) Preheat the oven to 180°C.<br />

2) Mix all ingredients well in a small bowl. They should be mouldable. If its<br />

not they add a little more dry or wet ingredient depending on how it feels,<br />

but don’t add too much dry or they will become soft treats. Then let it sit at<br />

room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes.<br />

3) Wet your hands and form the dough into small balls and place them on<br />

lightly greased baking paper.<br />

4) Using a damp fork, press the balls into a flat disk and bake for 15 minutes,<br />

remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before giving them to<br />

your pet<br />

32 oz. Plain Yogurt<br />

3 tbsp. Peanut Butter<br />

1 Large Banana, sliced<br />

1) Put all ingredients into a food processor<br />

or blender and blend until creamy.<br />

2) Fill a silicone mould or an ice cube tray.<br />

3) Freeze for at least 2 hours.<br />

Poochy Picnic, then don’t<br />

forget to store them in a<br />

freezer box/bag! Woof!<br />

1) Preheat your oven to 160°C.<br />

3/4 cup reduced fat milk<br />

2 eggs<br />

1 cup peanut butter<br />

2 ½ cup all purpose flour<br />

1 tablespoon of baking soda<br />

½ cup chopped fresh Basil<br />

10 drops of peppermint oil<br />

2) Whisk the milk, one egg and peanut butter together in a large bowl.<br />

3) Add the flour and baking soda to create a lovely dough then blend in the<br />

chopped Basil and Peppermint Oil.<br />

4) Flour a surface to roll out your dough and cut out circles for the mints.<br />

5) Make a quick egg wash by whisking together one egg and a couple<br />

teaspoons of water and brush a thin coat on your dog treats before putting<br />

them in the oven.<br />

6) Bake 15 minutes on one side and flip to bake 10 more minutes on the<br />

other side.<br />

1) Preheat oven to 180°C.<br />

2) Combine the pumpkin, peanut butter, eggs, and<br />

oil in a bowl then add in baking soda and the<br />

whole wheat flour. Stir until a stiff dough forms<br />

then knead dough until flour is incorporated.<br />

3) Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and use a<br />

cookie cutter to cut out your bones and bake for<br />

15 minutes.<br />

Biscuits:<br />

1 cup pumpkin<br />

½ cup peanut butter<br />

2 eggs<br />

¼ cup oil*<br />

2½ cups whole wheat flour<br />

1 teaspoon baking soda<br />

Icing:<br />

2 tablespoons bacon grease,<br />

melted<br />

¼ cup smooth peanut butter<br />

4) Whisk the bacon grease and peanut butter until<br />

very smooth. Drizzle over the treats and cool till<br />

glaze hardens.<br />

Beef Mincemeat<br />

Water<br />

1) Place the mincemeat in a bowl<br />

and knead until it becomes more<br />

of a paste.<br />

2) Mix with enough water for the<br />

mixture to be slightly sloppy<br />

3) Place in ice lolly moulds and<br />

freeze until solid.<br />

When its hot and we go<br />

out, I love to eat these<br />

yummy ice lollies ☺<br />

they are my summer<br />
