Steinsdalsfossen waterfall
One of the most popular waterfalls in Norway, known for the trail going
behind the waterfall. The Steinsdalsfossen has a fall of 50 m and occured
in 1699 when the river changed course. Footpath from the car park up to
and under the waterfall. Along Norwegian Scenic Route Hardanger. Tourist
information.

Museum focusing on maritime culture and handicrafts. Workshops in
full production with rope making, blacksmith and traditional wooden
boat building. Exhibits, guided tours, maritime films and activity trail
challenging own skills. Traditional rowing boats for rent, with instructor
if requested. Café and museum shop.

Hardanger Akvasenter
Fully operational salmon farm open for visitors, explaining the life cycle
of the salmon and modern aquaculture. Exhibition with underwater
cameras and videos. Guided tours including feeding the fish. Salmon

The Art Centre Kabuso, Ingebrigt Vik Museum and
Hardanger Skyspace
Art centre with temporary exhibitions and concerts of a high artistic
level. Permanent light installation Hardanger Skyspace by the American
artist James Turrell. Permanent sculpture exhibition at Ingebrigt
Vik Museum, works by one of Norway’s finest sculptors. Café with
homemade cakes and light dishes, sculpture park and museum shop.
