What is the first hat you made?
The very first hat I made was a
sculptural metallic silver sinamay
fascinator with a purple glitter ball
skewered on black ostrich quills which
could be worn front or backwards.(Gosh,
what was I thinking!)
What is your favourite hat from film/TV?
How fabulous is Noel Stewart’s veil on
Lucy Boynton? (Murder on the Orient
Express, 2017, pictured below)
What is your favourite hat to wear?
I don’t really have any favourites
because I like them all - ladies or
gents, if i can put it on my head, I
will wear it. In fact, if I can wear
them all in one go, I will!
For whom would you most like to choose a
hat?
Everyone!
If you could travel through time to any
era famous for hats, when would it be?
The New Look era — because everyone
looks and feels fabulous!
Tips for choosing a hat...
Go for comfort, wearability and style!
The joy of a hat is…
...feeling fabulous in it and making
your audience marvel in delight!
