<strong>The</strong> <strong>ProTec</strong> family consists of several successfully tested mobile crash barriers <strong>–</strong> for all<br />

application areas of mobile road restraint systems pursu<strong>an</strong>t to the ZTV-SA. Despite differing<br />

shapes <strong>an</strong>d structures, all mobile crash barriers in the <strong>ProTec</strong> family c<strong>an</strong> be combined with<br />

each other <strong>an</strong>d fitted together with force-fit connections. Mobile crash barriers in the <strong>ProTec</strong><br />

family c<strong>an</strong> also be combined with stationary restraint systems or mobile systems by other<br />

m<strong>an</strong>ufacturers with a force-fit connection.

Fast access for emergency services:<br />

<strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 50<br />

<strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 120<br />

We have developed <strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 50 <strong>an</strong>d <strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 120 as easily<br />

separated elements for mobile crash barriers that c<strong>an</strong> be<br />

opened quickly in <strong>an</strong> emergency without needing tools. Just<br />

a couple of simple actions are all it takes to release the force-fit<br />

connection of the crash barriers <strong>an</strong>d open the <strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 50<br />

or <strong>ProTec</strong>-Tor 120 elements.<br />

<strong>The</strong> resulting emergency opening then gives the fire brigade,<br />

emergency services <strong>an</strong>d police easy access through the<br />

otherwise closed, mobile crash barrier. In special cases it<br />

is also possible for traffic to be diverted away through the<br />

emergency opening.
