Case Study: Logistics
The Issue:
CEVA needed elevated security to meet the terms of a contract. This included
restricting and protecting areas within the distribution centre, ensuring supply
chain integrity. High value areas containing client data required additional security.
They also required HD imagery over a two month period, covering all areas of the
facility & vehicles.
The Solution:
We discussed their requirements, and designed and proposed a bespoke system.
This included an industry leading access control system, certified to the requisite
high standard. Fingerprint access controlled areas within the distribution centre,
with iris recognition protecting high value areas. The CCTV system was designed to
provide high resolution imagery for the required period. Our plan detailing the
installation process and all acceptance testing, was included in the contract tender.
The Results:
Following on from successful installation of the proposed system, the client was
awarded the high-level contract. The contract awarder has remote monitoring
ability, ensuring their supply chain integrity is maintained, meeting all requirements
of the initial brief.
