Product designations
The product designations are the names customarily used
in contact line construction. It cannot be avoided, however,
that different product types may be listed under the same
nominal designation. To ensure unambiguous identification,
each part is given a machine-readable factory designation
which begins with the preliminary number 8WL and consists
of a four-digit number followed by a hyphen and a further
digit (or a number and a letter). These identify the various
