This could be completed as a group or class activity but has been designed as an individual research activity.

What are the macroeconomic objectives of your chosen country? 2. To what extent do these objectives align with those outlined in Section 2.3 of the IB Economics Subject Guide? Background Knowledge One of the ATL skills relates to conducting research. In this activity, you will use your research skills to investigate the current macroeconomic objectives of a country other than your own. You will then use your own creativity to determine how to present the findings from your research. Task #1 / Activity Economic theory suggests that governments have macroeconomic objectives which include low unemployment rates, low and stable rates of inflation, good economic growth, and equitable distribution of income. In this activity, you will undertake research in relation to real world applications of these objectives.
