Half Price Scholastic Book Fair<br />
Monday 4 th to Friday 10 th Dec <strong>2017</strong><br />
Our students enjoyed a Scholastic Book Fair offering over 200 books with a<br />
huge 50% price reduction. Everyone had the chance<br />
to browse and buy, with prices from £1.49 suitable for<br />
pocket money budgets.<br />
The Book Fair was open during break times and after<br />
school until 3.30 pm for most of the week. The girls responded enthusiastically<br />
to this event and many came to have a look at the new and exciting book titles<br />
on offer. The sales exceeded £600 and the school benefitted by receiving<br />
£60’s worth of free books in return.<br />
Accelerated Reader 11 pupils attended Peter’s book store in Birmingham<br />
and chose some new books for the library. This was a fabulous opportunity for<br />
pupils to contribute to the selection of books in the library. Pupils were<br />
selected for outstanding commitment to Accelerated Reader.
