people in need. Every year we visit an
orphanage. We carry out house visitations
and hospital visitations when some of our
fellowship members are in need of prayer.
We have Christmas carol visitation to
houses and pray for them. Our team of
committee members work along with the
Church members and offer any sort of help
for the fellowship to grow. We have good
support from the TMCKL Pastors, LCEC, the
members and youths.
I also assist all my committee members in
their respective roles and responsibilities. I
have a good team of Committee members.
I make sure I am there personally to
encourage the members. I will take the
initiative to ensure everything is in order for
the growth of the fellowship and
individuals. I also arrange the
accommadation and prayer meetings for
pastors visiting Malaysia.
Moreover, I encourage everyone who
comes forward and carries out certain roles
and responsibilities including families.
I am involved in all the activities pertaining
to the TF and carry out the activities based
on discussions and suggestions from the
Pastors and Elders of TMC KL. Besides that,
I also provide input towards TF records and
reports and am involved in the mission
ministry program. We also help families and
friends any time of the day if there’s a need
for prayer.
We make sure that in whatever we do as
a fellowship we bring Glory and Honour to
our Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that this
ministry will also be a means to share the
love of Christ and the spirit of our
fellowship.
Thank you.
SPIRITUAL LIFE RETREAT
The Methodist Women of the Central District organised a
Spiritual Life Retreat at APC, Jalan Pudu on the 15th and 16th
February 2014.
The theme for the retreat was “Transformation Through
Prayer and Perseverance”. The word of God came
powerfully through our speakers, Rev Arnold Rajan and his
wife Pastor Santhana. They co-pastor a church in Jalan Ipoh,
Kuala Lumpur.
A total of 90 ladies from the nine central district churches
learnt much. We were told that we are called to purposeful
living and that God wants us to be aware of his general will for mankind and his specific will
for each one of us. Hence, learning to seek out his will and purpose is important for every
believer and for the body of Christ. Secondly, our hearts have to be ready for wholesome
transformation. Examples and principles were drawn from the Parable of the Sower. Thirdly,
we should make every effort to live life that is completely honouring to the Lord.
