EDITOR’S NOTE
Patience Yields Success
Have you ever wanted to do something, so
bad that it hurt? For me that something is
inspiring others by creating a compelling
content for the youth of South Africa,
create an immersive storytelling platform
where young entrepreneurs can tell their
stories of success, showcase their work and
inspire others, network and advertise their
products and ultimately create more
employment opportunities. All I want is to do
is to be a part of the solution that will
eradicate poverty. Putting a decent magazine
together takes time. The magazine business
is tough, you need a compelling content to
gain readership, you need a team to create
the content, you need money to pay the team,
you need advertising to make money, you
need the circulation to get advertising, you
need advertising money to build the
circulation. All these facets that depend on
each other. It takes an enormous amount of
time. However, we are not givng up. For you,
that passion - that inner drive might be
something else entirely, it could be making
clothes, trading forex, building an app for your
digital store, building a prototype for your
invention, or starting a TV production
company. Big or small, you need to be
patient with yourself, give yourself time to
study, research, build a business plan, and
raise startup capital. No mater what you must
do, do not give up because it’s difficult, don’t
stop because there is no one to help, don’t
stop because you have not started
making money and most importantly do not
give up because people are making fun of
you. keep moving, keep pushing. Your hard
work will soon payoff.
