Ryde’s Easter MP brings joy to Clermont<br />
RESIDENTS and staff at Ryde’s Clermont Aged Care were given Easter eggs by Ryde<br />
MP Victor Dominello last Thursday.<br />
Mr Dominello said<br />
Easter at Clermont is<br />
a special occaision<br />
where staff make a<br />
considerable effort to<br />
decorate the building<br />
and he was delighted<br />
to get into the “giving<br />
spirit” of Easter.<br />
“Easter is all about<br />
joy, the joy of the risen<br />
Christ,” Mr Dominello<br />
said.<br />
“One of the great<br />
gifts of life is to give<br />
and when you see the<br />
joy on the faces of the<br />
residents and staff here<br />
from such a simple<br />
gesture as giving Easter<br />
eggs, you appreciate<br />
what a special season<br />
Easter is.”<br />
He said he has many<br />
happy memories of<br />
family Easter celebrations.<br />
“Easter eggs are great<br />
but hot cross buns are<br />
pretty special too.”<br />
Clermont CEO Steve<br />
Gordon said he also<br />
enjoyed Mr Dominello’s<br />
visit.<br />
