The peak season starts from December to April (temperature varies from
25C to 33C with the highest peak in April).
Two seasons of Monsoon:

- The North East monsoon - from December to April with little rainfall,
lower humidity, calm seas and constant sunshine
- The South West monsoon - high humidity and heavy rainfall occurs from
May – October Scuba diving & surfing seasons can be done all year

The dry season is from December to April. It is perfect for underwater
diving on the eastern side.
The raining season is from May to October and gives good climate
conditions for scuba diving on the western side.
The off season in the Maldives starts from March to October, a perfect
period for surfers!
