Rotaract Club:
I have served in the Club as;
Rotaract Club of Limuru President 2016-2017
Rotaract Club of Limuru Community Service Director 2012-2013
Having been a Rotaractor in the Rotaract Club of University of Nairobi, the idea of
having a Rotaract Club at my Home place developed and led to me and my Friends
mobilizing other youths to form the Rotaract Club of Limuru of which am currently the
Club’s Past Community Service Director where I led my team in identifying, and acting
on the needs of my community through our service projects.
Our projects mainly involve helping those members of the community who may seem
disadvantaged like the orphans, the prisoners, mentally and physically challenged,
street children and the elderly. Our projects also extend to Environmental conservation
projects, student mentorship in schools, and community based forums on different
social economic needs.
Through Rotaract I have developed my Interpersonal Skills, Leadership and
Professional skills and have gained enormous skills in event Organization and
Resource Mobilization as a Member and more so as a director and current President.
