The studio’s inaugural architectural project at Changi<br />
Chapel Museum had received an overwhelming response<br />
from the public & the press alike. Since the<br />
opening of building, the chapel museum had seen<br />
a tremendous increase in its visitorship. The widely<br />
published project had caught the eyes of an upcoming<br />
local artist. Jasmine, the Changi Museum curator,<br />
had arranged a meeting between the local artist and<br />
yourself last Friday evening to discuss the prospects<br />
of building a dwelling unit for him.<br />
The design concept of the inside out is the ability to<br />
experience the visual connectivity of the internal and<br />
external spaces from different angles of the house at<br />
each time with a different atmosphere. The experience<br />
whereby one transits through various spaces<br />
changes due to the different atmospheric qualities<br />
encompassing each space. Yet, it allows one to dwell<br />
within while masking the commotion of the outside<br />
world.<br />
