Day 3: Alexandria Day <strong>Tour</strong><br />

An 82-foot (25-meter) granite column built to honour Emperor<br />

A 15th-century defensive fortress located оn the Mediterranean sea<br />

Philae Temple :<br />

Built tо honour goddess Isis, this was the last ancient temple built іn the<br />

The Unfinished Obelisk:<br />

Is the largest known ancient obelisk. It was ordered by Hatshepsut. It іs<br />

finished it would have measured around 42 m (approximately 137 feet)<br />

Built across the <strong>Nile</strong> at Aswan, it was constructed between 1960 and<br />

Day 7 : Kom Ombo / Edfu<br />

Kom Ombo Temple:<br />

The temple is unique because its 'double' design meant that there were<br />

courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods.<br />

The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god<br />

Sobek, god of fertility. The northern part of the temple was dedicated to<br />

the falcon god Haroeris. Continue sailing to Edfu and visit:-<br />

Edfu Temple:<br />

One of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. The temple, dedicated to<br />

the falcon god Horus. It was built in the Ptolemaic period. The<br />

inscriptions on its walls provide important information on language, myth<br />

and religion during the Greco-Roman period in ancient Egypt. There are<br />

also "important scenes and inscriptions of the Sacred Drama which<br />

related the age-old conflict between Horus and Seth." Continue sailing<br />

to Luxor, arrive Luxor late night.<br />

Day 8: Luxor Day <strong>Tour</strong><br />

Valley Of The Kings:<br />

It was the principal burial place of the major royal figures of the Egyptian<br />

period. In modern times the valley has become famous for the discovery<br />

Colossi Of Memnon :<br />

Two massive stone statues оf Pharaoh Amenhotep III and dates back to<br />

1350 B.C. They made out of quartzite sandstone which comes from<br />

Karnak Temple:<br />

No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple<br />

complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of<br />

many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of<br />

Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and<br />

several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land.<br />
