Santa Monica Malibu Unified School District of Los Angeles County (SMMUSD) will receive sealed bids<br />
from contractors holding a type “C-20” license, on the following: Bid #18.17.ES Districtwide Bard Units<br />
Project at Various Districtwide Sites. This scope of work is estimated to be between $153,000 - $187,000<br />
and includes construction of, the removal and replacement of wall mounted Bard air conditioning units and<br />
thermostats for existing modular buildings, patching and repairing at exterior and interior to match existing<br />
as required and other associated improvements. All bids must be filed in the SMMUSD Facility Improvement<br />
Office, 2828 4th Street, Santa Monica, California 90405 on or before 5/17/18 at 2:00 PM at which time<br />
and place the bids will be publicly opened. Each bid must be sealed and marked with the bid name and number.<br />
Bidders must attend a Mandatory Job Walk to be held at the District FIP office, on 4/19/18 at 9:00 AM.<br />
All General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (M/E/P) Subcontractors must be pre-qualified<br />

Prequalification Due Date & Instructions for Application Submission: All applications are due no later<br />
than 5/3/18 - Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District has contracted with Colbi Technologies, Inc. to<br />
provide a web-based process for prequalification called QualityBidders. To submit an application at no cost<br />
please visit www.qualitybidders.com. Once you have been approved, you will receive an email indicating<br />

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the City of Malibu is accepting applications for Council appointment to the<br />
following Committee:<br />
WASTEWATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE<br />
The Committee provides advice and recommendations to the City Council on matters related to wastewater<br />
and onsite wastewater treatment systems.<br />
The seven-member Committee shall be residents, property owners, currently employed within Malibu, or<br />
wastewater or onsite wastewater treatment system professionals.<br />
The deadline to submit a City Commission/Committee Member Application Form is Wednesday, April 18,<br />
2018, by 5:30 p.m.<br />
Application forms are on the City's website at www.malibucity.org (on the City Clerk page) or by emailing<br />

Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the State CEQA Guidelines (the Guidelines), and the environmental<br />
regulations of the City. The Planning Director hereby finds under Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA<br />
Guidelines, the draft ordinance is exempt from the requirements of CEQA because it can be seen with certainty<br />
that the provisions contained herein would not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the<br />
environment. A written staff report will be available at or before the hearing. All persons wishing to address<br />
the Commission will be afforded an opportunity in accordance with the Commission's procedures. Copies of<br />
