(g) any other information deemed by the Animal Control Officer to be necessary for the<br />
proper administration of this <strong>Division</strong>.<br />
The owner of the registered animal shall notify the Animal Control Officer of any change in<br />
the above mentioned informations or cf the sale or death of the animal.<br />
113. The charge for registration and identification tag shall be of $10.00 per year and shall be<br />
paid no later than thirty (30) days after the acquisition of the animal and then, every year<br />
before the veterinarian comes to Nemaska.<br />
114. (1) The Animal Control Officer shall issue the identification tag upon registration and<br />
payment of the annual fee.<br />
(2) No identification tag shall be issued unless a record that the animal is immunized against<br />
rabies is provided to the Animal Control Officer, and, if the animal is a dog, a record that<br />
the dog is sterilized.<br />
(3) If an Elnimni is acquired before the veterinarian comes to Nemaska, the owner shall<br />
immunize the animal against rabies, and, if the animal is a dog, sterilize the animal, the<br />
next time the veterinarian comes to Nemaska.<br />
115. The identification tag shall indicate:<br />
(a) the name of the community of Nemaska;<br />
(b) the year for which the identification tag is valid; and<br />
(c) a number corresponding to that entered into the animal register kept by the Animal<br />
Control Officer.<br />
116. A duplicate identification tag may be obtained from the Animal Control Officer at a cost of<br />
$10.00.<br />
117. The Animal Control Officer shall keep an animal register in respect of which identification<br />
tags are issued and provide each registrant with a numbered tag and a sticker for each animal<br />
in respect of which the tag is issued.<br />
118. The identification tag issued by the Animal Control Officer in respect of an animal is not<br />
transferrable.<br />
RABIES IMMUNIZATION<br />
119. All <strong>animals</strong> on the lands described in section 109 must be immunized against rabies in<br />
accordance with generally accepted veterinary standards.<br />
120. The owner of an animal exposed to rabies shall inform the Animal Control Officer without<br />
delay. Such animal will be held into quarantine at the impoundment for fourteen (14) days and<br />
shall not be released from quarantine without the permission of the Animal Control Officer.<br />
