Southfield Area Chamber Ambassadors Ambassadors are highly visible members who serve as the Chamber’s primary liaison to other members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, the Ambassador committee plays an essential role in member communication and retention. Each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff and keeping our Chamber aligned with our members’ needs. Upon their appointment, each Ambassador makes a commitment to build lasting relationships with the Chamber membership, particularly new members, in order to build a loyal, committed membership base that will continue to support, participate in and invest in the Chamber. Each group will have 12 or more members, with only one person from any profession or business specialty will be eligible to join. Not only will group members be potential customers for each other, but they will be encouraged to find referrals for other members of their BNG. An emphasis will be placed on finding referrals from outside of the Chamber membership, creating an expanded network for each of its members. Each member will commit their intent to attend meetings on a regular basis and to seek out referrals for their fellow members on an ongoing basis. This is a benefit of your chamber membership package! Many referral organizations charge from $300-$600 annually to belong to a networking group! BNG will not cost SACC members a dollar outside of membership to the chamber. Groups will meet for one hour, twice per month on the same day and time and at the same location.
