But you’re probably wondering
‘Who is this hippie?’ So let me take this
opportunity to introduce myself. My
name is Amanda Rose, creator of The
Hippie Homesteader line of essential
oil wellness products. A new age hippie
chick creating a healthy, sustainable,
green lifestyle. I live and work smack
dab in the middle of my town in
Southern Wisconsin on a 1/3 acre city
lot. We raise herbs, vegetables, and
chickens at the Homestead; beef cattle
and vegetables at my moms farm (Hope
Heritage Farm), and vegetables and wild
crafted berries and herbs at Pleasant
Prairie Acres (or what I like to call Hippie
Homestead East).
Ten years ago I began studying herbal
medicine and aromatherapy. I started
to create my own health and wellness
products to help alleviate a variety of
allergies and sensitivities which had
caused chronic itchy skin. I found my
passion in creating products with herbs
and essential oils. I infused my energy
and love into every bottle and every bar.
In 2016 I decided to take my passion for
natural wellness and created a line of
products to share with the world, and
so The Hippie Homesteader was born.
All of our products are handmade with
only all natural ingredients and pure
essential oils. That means we do not
use any petrochemicals or artificial
fragrances or colors. We make every
product with limited natural ingredients
and source locally whenever we can.
As a Hippie Homesteader customer
you will be supporting a small, women
owned business. We are passionate
about what we do and it shows in
the quality of our products and our
devotion to customer satisfaction.
