The seven-inch touchscreen audio display,
reminiscent of a tablet, is set atop the dash to
keep the driver’s eyes up and looking ahead
whenever he or she glances at the screen.
The twin-ring instrument cluster is equally
easy to see and understand, placed optimally
behind the slender-profile steering wheel.
Today’s drivers also want the latest in

a low centre of gravity, and new MacPherson
strut front suspension for extra stability
and response.
At the rear, the C-HR’s all-new doublewishbone
suspension includes shock
absorbers with urethane upper supports,
a first for Toyota. This ensures excellent
handling along with a smooth and
comfortable ride.
Under the hood, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder
engine produces 144 horsepower and 139 lb.-ft.
of torque, mated to an automatic continuously
variable transmission (CVT).
Youthful and edgy, but with great fuel
efficiency and a practical side, the C-HR is
what “fun to drive” is all about.
When it goes on sale in Spring 2017,
the C-HR will come in XLE and XLE
Premium trims.
Both include dual-zone climate control,
heated bucket seats, 7-inch audio display,
leather-wrapped steering wheel, backup
camera and auto-dimming rearview mirror,
while the XLE Premium adds blind spot
monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, Smart
Key with pushbutton start, and auto-folding
heated mirrors with puddle lamps that project
“Toyota C-HR” alongside the vehicle.

with its sporty flair. It’s a complete package
