Seeing Eye Puppies in
Training
On February 2, the Library
hosted five dogs with their
trainers from the Essex County
Puppy Club, a chapter of the
Seeing Eye Puppy Project. They
presented their program to a full
house of spectators.
This club actively participates
in raising puppies for the Seeing Eye, which involves
organizing events and activities, outside of training, to
further expose the pups to environments they will be
expected to work as adult guide dogs. The club has
more than fifty families raising dogs.
