STRATFORD FESTIVAL OF MOTORING<br />
Forget Turin – all the action <strong>of</strong> The Italian Job is right here in<br />
<strong>Stratford</strong>-upon-Avon thanks to the <strong>Stratford</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Motoring</strong>.<br />
The <strong>Festival</strong>, now in its sixth year, returns on Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May.<br />
(10am to 5pm on Sunday and 10am to 4pm on Monday.) This year Wood Street<br />
is themed on the iconic 1969 film, and you can expect reminders <strong>of</strong> the<br />
classic comedy caper, from Minis to Italian supercars.<br />
The <strong>2018</strong> <strong>Festival</strong> fol<strong>low</strong>s the successful formula with participants<br />
taking runs through the beautiful countryside that surrounds our<br />
historic town, before returning to town to park up. Visitors will be<br />
treated to a showcase <strong>of</strong> over 300 imp<strong>res</strong>sive motor vehicles.<br />
Catch them as they arrive on Wood Street between 9am<br />
and midday.<br />
There will be plenty <strong>of</strong> entertainment including live music<br />
and interactive demonstrations. Local car dealership, Listers<br />
– a long-running supporter <strong>of</strong> this popular event – returns<br />
as <strong>Festival</strong> Sponsor and will display its imp<strong>res</strong>sive ranges<br />
on Bridge Street and Waterside.<br />
Amongst all the excitement is the town’s ever imp<strong>res</strong>sive<br />
collection <strong>of</strong> shops, <strong>res</strong>taurants and bars waiting for<br />
you to explore. The <strong>Festival</strong> is funded by 430 town<br />
centre businesses, so lets show our support to them.<br />
