ITB works hard to deliver a more competent
workforce for its clients. This includes high quality
training and support to help them achieve the
qualifications they need - no matter where in the
world they are based.
Some clients require more support than others,
for this reason ITB will never say no to providing
extended or additional support should clients
require it. As a rule, the company will do
everything it can so that the journey from training
to certification is as quick and stress free as
possible. ITB’s competence training falls into three
categories: assessor learning, verifier learning and
leadership, coaching and mentoring learning
programmes. ITB is an approved OPITO, SQA and
the Institute of Leadership and Management
training centre.
The assessor awards are designed for any
organisation where assessments are required as
part of a competence management system or
to assess national occupational standards. The
importance of verifier learning is down to the
fact that internal verifiers have a significant role
in ensuring assessments are being carried out in
accordance with a Competence Management
System or Awarding Body Requirements.
The Coaching for Competence learning
programme endorsed by the Institute of
Leadership and Management is designed for
anyone tasked with carrying out workplace
coaching or one-to-one training in the workplace
but has been specifically designed for discipline
experts who are involved in coaching to meet
in-house competence standards.
