Amanda Steadman<br />
"Amanda is an Australian <strong>Art</strong>ist born and raised on the<br />
Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Displaying natural creativity<br />
as a child her youth was spent painting and drawing whilst<br />
growing up on her family's country property. After finishing<br />
secondary school Amanda studied <strong>Art</strong> and Design before<br />
beginning a career in business. In 2013 Amanda left the<br />
corporate workplace to pursue her life-long passion for <strong>Art</strong>.<br />
She is now painting full time in her studio and teaching art<br />
workshops and classes at Peninsula <strong>Art</strong> Space, a business she<br />
has recently established with fellow <strong>Art</strong>ist and friend Christine<br />
Sharp. Amanda and Christine were Feature <strong>Art</strong>ist at the 2015<br />
Mt Eliza <strong>Art</strong> Show. Amanda does not restrict herself to a single<br />
medium or subject and her current work is predominantly in<br />
acrylic, ink and mixed media. She is an accomplished pastel
artist and loves to experiment with different products and<br />
textiles. Amanda's artwork is influenced by colour, pattern and<br />
