Notices FLOWERS AT THE PULPIT last week were in loving memory of John Brewer. Our apologies this notice is a week late. DEANERY ASCENSION SERVICE is here on Thursday, 10 May at 7.30pm. The preacher is Revd Becky Waring, St Martin's Knowle. Incense will be used. The regular 12.30pm Eucharist will be without incense. VOICES OF ANGELS - BOYS CHOIRS CONCERT on Friday 11 May at 7.30pm in church, Tickets £5 from the Parish office or on the door. Choral music, featuring Pirkanpojat Boys Choir (Finland), Bristol Youth Choir and SMR boys choir. CHRISTIAN AID WEEK is the 13-19 May. There will be a collection next week when you will be given two envelopes, one for you and one for a friend. These should be returned by the end of the month. Please be generous. BRISTOL 10K RUN: next Sun, 13 May, there is a 10K run which will affect access to St Mary Redcliffe. The Grove, Prince St, Prince St Bridge, Broad Quay, Marsh St and Baldwin St will be closed between 5am and 12.30pm. For more info see map at back of church. HELP NEEDED! The flower team urgently need help cutting herbs and snipping rosemary for Rush Sunday. If you can offer your time (even if it is only half an hour) please turn up at Church on Friday 18th or Saturday 19th May. (Men or women can do this!). Also offers of herbs and foliage will be gratefully received. THE RUSH SERVICE will be taking place on Sun, 20 May at 11am. Those wishing to apply for tickets can take an invitation from the back of the Church; see also slips to book lunch at the Mercure Hotel. Please return completed forms to the Parish Office as soon as possible. REFRESH CAFÉ IN BEDMINSTER say ‘thank you’ for all the food we have sent them, and would appreciate more contributions. Please put them in the basket at the back of church.
