Being Social Active Citizen<br />
In our activiites the students have set up their international groups and in each group the students are from Italy,Greece,Lithuania and Turkey.<br />
They have used their smart phones and technolgy and learnt what Citizen/ active citizen / and Social Active Citizen mean. Also they have<br />
discussed what a social citizen should do / behave in a society .<br />
The students have listed the followings what a social citizen should do<br />
obeying the laws<br />
voting in elections<br />
serving on a jury if required<br />
taking care about enverionment / street animals<br />
taking care about homeless<br />
taking care about neighbours<br />
learning their rights as citizen / human / children / young<br />
taking care to local / national / global issues and<br />
problems,troubles<br />
helping to improve governance<br />
learning to respect other new opinions<br />
Then the students choose one of the topics above and<br />
prepare a photo-slide<br />
In the 2nd period of the studies they have been given the situation about tax evasion .and according to the situation one of their family members<br />
do not pay the taxes (on time). And what should the students do when they learn the situation ? they have prepared their presentations / role<br />
plays and videos . And they are also here .
