Lauren Daigle- Music artist in profile
Lauren grew up in Lafayette,
Louisiana in an environment
of zydeco, blues and Cajun
music. From the youngest
age.Lauren had a chance to
immerse herself in a passion
for music. She said that her
mother called her house
"The music box" when she
was a child because anytime
she was awake she was
singing. Faith and music have always been involved in the life of
this Louisiana Native. Daigle admits she almost pushed music to
the backburner, unsure if it was her true calling, until a
devastating illness, infectious mononucleosis from
cytomegalovirus, brought her young life into sharper focus. She
claims that it was one of the best things that had happened to
me. Because of her suffering with a major illness while in high
school she was kept out of school for nearly two years. When she
went to college prep school, she felt as if it were time to get
serious and thought she had to go into the medical field and do
mission work. Then when the Lord brought her into that solitude,
she realized that she needed to follow her true passion of music.

Philip De Courcy- Saturday 1pm
Philip was born in Belfast, Ireland, to Christian parents who instilled in him
a love for the Lord, Jesus Christ. At sixteen years of age, Philip trusted
Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.Growing up in a neighborhood where
civil tension was commonplace, many of Philip’s friends became involved
in acts of terrorism. As a result, Philip decided to serve as a part-time
reserve police officer in the Royal Ulster Constabulary in North Belfast.
Although some of his comrades were injured and even killed during that
six-year period, Philip was unharmed.
To this day, he believes God used this faith-building season to prepare him
for pastoral ministry. After receiving pastoral training, Philip spent six years
shepherding the congregation of Carr Baptist Church in Lisburn, a suburb
of Belfast. Then, in 1994, Philip relocated his family to The United States,
serving in churches in southern California and central Ohio. In 2007 Philip
began his current ministry as senior pastor at Kindred Community Church.

Hope In The Night
Midnight
Hope In The Night has celebrated 20 years of late-night
ministry. There are no in-studio guests on Hope In The
Night, just June Hunt and her announcer and co-host,
veteran Christian broadcaster Roger Manning. The
“guests” on this program are the callers, and they're
treated with careful respect, rather than being rushed,
dismissed and replaced. This compassionate approach
is based on June's profound belief in the importance of
every individual with whom she communicates, in
person or on the air.
