MAN Diesel & Turbo Middle East is now able to provide INSITU liner scanning<br />
with state of the art technology through their workshops in Dubai and Fujairah.<br />
In an attempt to support our customers with prolonging TBO`s and condition based<br />
maintenance, MAN Diesel & Turbo Middle East offers INSITU liner scanning for engines<br />
ranging from 50 to 98 bore 1 with state of art technology without removing the cylinder<br />
cover.<br />
The advantages are:<br />
• Minimum time required<br />
• No immobilization permission required<br />
• Feasible frequent scans to follow and correct cylinder liner wear<br />
We offer:<br />
• Detailed scavenge port inspection. Liners, pistons, piston rings, etc.<br />
• Cylinder liner measurement with cylinder cover mounted<br />
• Cylinder Liner wear monitoring<br />
• Minimum labor<br />
• Measurements for individual units or for the complete engine<br />
<strong>Price</strong>:<br />
USD 525/ unit, less than 3 units hourly rates will apply as per the prevailing service rates.<br />
The price includes one superintendent engineer and the necessary tool for one day<br />
followed by a written report. Mobilization expenses will be invoiced additionally.<br />
Assistance from the crew for opening up, ventilation and turning is expected.<br />

To supply a complete MAN Primeserv UAE service team (engineer<br />
including technicians) to carry out cylinder unit overhaul within UAE<br />
waters with below scope.<br />
• Removal cylinder cover from existing cylinder unit<br />
• Inspection of combustion space, injector spray path, etc.<br />
• Renewal of cylinder water guide jacket O-ring<br />
• Removal of wear-ridge on cylinder liner, clean combustion area and pull piston<br />
• Cylinder liner surface to be cleaned, inspected and calibrated<br />
• Piston crown to be cleaned, inspected and calibrated on ring grooves<br />
• Piston Skirt to be inspected for scuffing marks<br />
