School Counseling Curriculum Planning <strong>SAUSD</strong> Counselors will be meeting to collect curriculum samples, evaluate our options, and create a K-12 scope and sequence school counseling curriculum. This team will meet several times throughout the summer based on team member schedules. Developing Artistic Literacy A professional learning program fro K-8 Teachers. California standards call for students to develop literacy in all content areas. These programs develop teacher’s literacy and skills in dance, theatre, visual art or music. They are aligned with California K-8 Visual and Performing Arts Content Standards, National Core Arts Standards, and Common Core Content Literacy and Technical Subjects Artful Inquiry For Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Art and AME teachers Collaboratively explore new aspects of arts education including the California Arts Content, Content Literacy in Technical Subjects, Language Development Standards, and the National Core Arts Standards. Create and engage in an arts-based lesson study targeting a problem of practice. This lesson study is based on research into the problem of practice.
