OECM’s New People Strategy<br />

At OECM, our people are at the root of our success. They are talented individuals with a shared passion<br />

for achieving results through team work and collaboration. In <strong>2017</strong>, OECM received approval on our new<br />

People Strategy by the Board of Directors. The new People Strategy aims to accelerate the development<br />

of our team, grow and strengthen our leadership capabilities, and enhance our performance through<br />

strong engagement. By establishing a People Strategy, our goal is to attract, motivate, and retain superior<br />

talent, while fostering a workplace culture of excellence, to facilitate the delivery of exceptional customer<br />

service. The five defining pillars are:<br />

Total Rewards Create and maintain an effective and competitive total rewards program that ensures<br />

OECM can attract and retain the right talent in the right roles.<br />

Leadership and Talent: Acquisition and Development Attract, develop, retain and motivate a high<br />

performing workforce.<br />

High Performance Culture of Excellence Define and develop all processes that contribute to developing<br />

and sustaining OECM’s core values and ensuring a high performing culture of workplace excellence.<br />

Workforce Planning Ensure continuity of the right talent for the short and long term success of the<br />

organization.<br />

Operational Excellence Ensure HR policies and systems are developed, maintained and applied to<br />

contribute to a transparent, safe and equitable work environment.<br />
