THE INTERNATIONAL TRAINING
& CONFERENCE CENTER, the
largest and most comprehensive
training facility for union Operating
and Stationary Engineers in North
America, opened its doors in April. A
blue-ribbon panel of IUOE Training
Directors and staff helped design this
world-class training center, which will
meet the needs of members and our
industry.
179,200-sf, two-story administration
building with two attached threestory
dormitory wings. It houses
administrative offices, a grand
ballroom that can be divided into eight
large classrooms, dining facilities, and
a commercial kitchen.
The outdoor acreage will be used
to conduct pipeline training, crane
training, and heavy equipment
operations. There are 12 crane
pads with brand new equipment.
The exterior site structures, or field
classrooms, have the functionality of

something special down in Texas and

Sitting on 237 acres, this flagship
facility was built for the entire
International. The main building is
a stunning, multipurpose venue. It
will host classes and meetings for a
wide range of groups and includes a
