Who is <strong>Chris</strong> <strong>Hemsworth</strong>?<br />

This sensation of an actor was born in Melbourne, Australia. His parents were an English teacher<br />

and a social service counselor. He is not the only actor to come out of his family. Both of his<br />

brothers are well-known actors: Liam <strong>Hemsworth</strong> and Luke <strong>Hemsworth</strong>. Even though he was born<br />

in Australia, this young man is of mixed ancestry: he has genes from Ireland, Scotland, Britain,<br />

Germany and Deutschland!<br />

His first success was in the movie Star Trek in 2009, after which he had an unforgettable role in<br />

Thor. In 2012, he played a character in The Avengers. This very talented and good looking guy is<br />

seeing his fame spreading worldwide! <strong>Chris</strong> was featured in many other movies like The Cabin in<br />

the Woods, Red Dawn, Rush and A Perfect Getaway.<br />

Now, he is married to Elsa Pataky and they have three children together. They live happily in Byron<br />

Bay. He won the Teen Choice Award in 2012 for The Avengers. For the same movie, he got a<br />

Favorite Action Movie Star in 2013. In 2017, his movie Ghostbusters won him another Kids’<br />

Choice Award.<br />

<strong>Chris</strong> <strong>Hemsworth</strong> weight loss plan


When he took the role in the movie In the Heart of the Sea, <strong>Chris</strong> had to change his look and ended<br />

up shocking everyone by appearing extremely frail. He had to look his best for his new role. His<br />

weight loss regimen was a very strict one, consisting of barely more than one egg per day. Cillian<br />

Murphy and Ben Whishaw accompanied him on this journey as they were his co-stars in the movie.<br />

What was stressful is that they had to lose the weight while they were on set. They did not have<br />

time to plan it otherwise. It was just a very mediocre food-less journey. He was only eating an egg,<br />

some crackers and celery sticks.<br />

Their journey was a tough one and all three co-stars ended up talking just about food and what they<br />

would like to eat. The character <strong>Chris</strong> was playing in this movie was that of a man who got lost at<br />

sea. In the movie, he and his co-stars are shown battling with a sperm whale that ended up killing<br />

many of his men on board. <strong>Chris</strong> has to look like a man who was in the middle of nowhere for 90<br />

days! The results were protruding ribs and a gaunt frame. This young man did not have the<br />

possibility of following the Melissa McCarthy weight loss regimen; or the special K diet before and<br />

after.<br />

He was stuck with a system where he barely ate to look like a starving man in the movie! He ended<br />

up losing up to 33 pounds. He looked shaggy, with long facial hair! Nobody was used to seeing this<br />

attractive and well-built man this way. <strong>Chris</strong> joked that his new diet is called “lost at sea” and that<br />

he does not recommend it to anyone. He states to everyone that following this strict diet was very<br />

tough and that he wouldn’t have done it if it wasn’t for the other actors who were in the same<br />

misery as him. He gives credit to the move to create a special bond between all three actors. It felt<br />

like being part of a football team where players stand by each other. This is not the reality of movies<br />

and acting, but this is how it felt on the set.<br />

<strong>Weight</strong> loss diets<br />

<strong>Chris</strong> inevitably was stuck in his movie role and ended up losing a lot of weight, the very unhealthy<br />

way. This is one system that should never be embraced by anyone trying to lose weight and shed<br />

fat.<br />

When the movie was over, <strong>Chris</strong> couldn’t wait to get back to the gym and work his way back to his<br />

old body. He needs to eat clean but surely far more calories. He no longer feels bored from eating<br />

chicken breast and rice. At least he is eating. Now, <strong>Chris</strong> is back to his old muscular body with<br />

correctly showing muscles. This Australian actor does not follow the alkaline diet foods. This latter<br />

consists of eating food options that keep your body alkaline. When you follow this regimen, you are<br />

not allowed to eat food that triggers an acidic milieu. In this system, you are advised to have fruits,<br />

veggies, nuts, seeds, and legumes. On the other hand, you are not allowed to have some dairy, eggs,<br />

meat, grains, processed food or packaged snacks.<br />

An alkaline diet is not the same as a detoxification system. What is a detox? It is the process of


getting rid of the toxins accumulated in your body. Our body gets exposed to a lot of toxins<br />

throughout the day. These come from the environment, food, and anything around us. Even your<br />

creams and hair shampoos contain chemicals that can accumulate. When these toxins pile up, and<br />

with time, they can lead to illnesses and diseases. So, to avoid it, one is advised to follow a detox<br />

diet. Such a regimen has many advantages such as recharging, rejuvenating and renewing your body<br />

and life.<br />

Finally, for those who followed the Garcinia Cambogia results, they should know by now that these<br />

pills are derived from a green-yellowish fruit that looks very similar to a small pumpkin. This fruit<br />

is native to Indonesia and is a prevalent one for weight loss. While many states that this fruit and its<br />

pills prevent your body from accumulating fat and decreases your appetite, one has to be extra<br />

careful with some possible side effects. Garcinia can help you lose weight and possibly monitor<br />

your blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The fruit contains an ingredient called Hydroxycitric acid<br />

that blocks the enzyme citrate lyase. This enzyme is needed by our body to make fat. From another<br />

angle, the same element boosts the level of serotonin that makes us feel full.<br />

Whatever you pick to lose weight, you need to keep in mind that food is the best source of energy<br />

for our body. It is true that you need to pick your food choices to lose weight; however, you have to<br />

know what system will yield the best weight loss results!<br />
