Until 2006/2007, student figures were recorded on 15 November. After academic
calendars had been aligned at the national level, the figures for subsequent
years were recorded on 15 October (one month after the beginning of the
autumn semester), and are assumed to be correct for the academic year, which
usually begins in the month of September and ends in the month of June.
“Student place of origin” is understood to mean the legal domicile of the student
when s/he is awarded her/his admission qualification.
In accordance with the Bologna Declaration, the first Bachelor degree courses
were launched in academic year 2005/06, and the first Master degree courses
were launched in the autumn semester of 2008.
−
“New students” are those who matriculate in a specific autumn semester, for the
first time, for a given level of study, at a university-type institute.
The information related to staff members was recorded at 31 December, considering
