2. French President Charles DeGaulle stirred up a lot<br />

of controversy during 1967— here he explains why he<br />

feels Britain should not be a Common Market member.<br />

3. Soldiers of the U.S. 4th Infantry Division rest atop<br />

Hill 1338 following a fierce battle with the North Vietnamese<br />
