Langston High School Chapter of the D istributive Education Clubs of A m erica. (DECA), whose m otto is developing future leaders in M arketing and Distribution. In this first year the club m em bers have com e to understand the rolls of distribution in our free enterprise system and have explored the job opportunities in w holesale, retail, and service businesses. A num ber of them ymm «r. given the oppor tunity of prac tic a l application by working in local D anville stores during Christmas. <strong>The</strong> highlight of the year is always the DECA State leadership Conference when delegates, representing 6,000 students in Virginia, m eet at the Golden Triangle Motor Hotel in Norfolk to present awards for ach iev e m ent and to form plans for the com ing year.
