Passages of Distinction opens West Coast Office Introducing Evelyne Gaudin By Sari Freeman We recently announced a new addition to our Passages of Distinction team, Ms. Evelyne Gaudin, Western Region Sales Manager! We have always felt that the West Coast is very important and now we have found the right person to spread the good word for us on an ongoing basis. Evelyne has a rich background in the travel industry starting out as a travel agent, then moving to Air France, to Tahiti Legends and then to starting her own representation company, Evelyne’s Collection. We have only worked together for a month but we feel she is very enthusiastic and she has already visited some of our hotels. We are very pleased to have her on our team! Evelyne, while responsible for the Western region, is primarily focusing for the moment on the California market. Some time ago, Brad and I determined that it was time to find someone based in the area. After a long search, we are very confident that we have found just the right fit! Then, there are so many different regions, sites, religions, dialects, and ancient history. Our goal, at Passages of Distinction, is to educate you, the consultants so that you feel well informed and therefore confident in selling our product. This is why Brad and I felt it would be ideal to organize this seminar, when Mohan, the owner of Travel Scope, was coming to town, to help develop some excitement for selling Incredible India. Those who attended our India 101 seminar, were privy to the inside scoop on how to plan a first trip and more. Pranna, a cool Asian fusion restaurant, was the venue. The first hour, we held class then retreated to cocktails with wonderful In- dian hors d’oeuvres and Jay Dorfman’s fabulous exhibit of Indian portrait photos! India is Truly Fascinating Photo by Jay Dorfman The seminar opened with a wow! Mohan played a fabulous video that had recently been shot by Jay (a client, now friend) and narrated by Mohan’s wife Shoba. It was a real celebration of India in all its colorful glory! Filmed in Varanasi where you saw all different types of people, ceremonies, amazing shots of children, older people, street people, holy people. This set the stage and drew you into wanting to know more. India is truly fascinating! Introducing The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore is prominently positioned in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District within The Fullerton Heritage precinct. The hotel features a total of 100 rooms including five differently themed suites and a Presidential Suite. Each room has an exclusive balcony which provides panoramic views of the Singapore skyline. What happened at that point was incredible, out of 30 people attending, two Gazing at Taj Mahal individuals who had been on a FAM trip with me last year, commented on the outstanding job that Mohan does. Then one after another, five individuals stood up and commented with glowing reports!!
