T he
Path to Peace will wind
through a spectacular
landscape set in the red rocks of
Sedona, Arizona. It will lead to
the magnificent 36-foot Amitabha
Stupa, dedicated to world peace,
environmental stability and the
end of suffering. Stupas are sacred
monuments that have served as
places of pilgrimage throughout the
world for those who wish peace and
spirituality to be motivating forces
in their lives. The Amitabha Stupa is
considered to be especially powerful,
as Amitabha, the Buddha of
Infinite Light, vowed to respond to
the prayers of all who call upon him.
Kunzang Palyul Chöling of Sedona
(KPC), a Vajrayana Buddhist organization
committed to compassionate
activities in the world, owns and
caretakes the sacred land surrounding
the Path to Peace. In addition
to the two consecrated stupas
presently on the land, an activity
center, a temple and meditation
gardens will be built, offering a
place of tranquility for people of all
faiths to come and meditate, pray,
contemplate, or just enjoy
the peaceful environment.

The path will be edged with bricks inscribed with the names chosen by the
contributors. Dedicate a brick to a loved one, your pet, or have your name inscribed.
Each brick will become part of the Path to Peace. All you have to do is fill out the
