The Forward & Backward City

Tatenda cannot believe his ears that there is such a global promise and he cannot
wait to find out about it. Just as Tatenda is daydreaming about the Convention,
he is asked to come to the podium. To his compete surprise the Mayor says that
Tatenda is being appointed as a Junior Mayor for his part of the city! Before he
can figure out what this means, there is a large roar of applause and he is being
draped in a heavy gold chain with lots of medallions which look like large coins.
