Interest Generated to Form Club<br />
• Griff Griffiths approached Dick Gerhart and<br />
Dick agreed that a club should be started.<br />
• Griff <strong>the</strong>n approached <strong>the</strong> So. Manatee club,<br />
but <strong>the</strong>y declined as sponsors.<br />
• Griff called Bill Brown, Pres. Sarasota Bay<br />
Club, to see if <strong>the</strong>y would sponsor <strong>the</strong> club.<br />
• <strong>The</strong> Sarasota Bay Club enthusiastically<br />
supported <strong>the</strong> idea.<br />
• Steve Garber, a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sarasota Bay<br />
Club was asked to be provisional president.<br />
