July’s Artist of the Month, Peter Collins - Wood Work & Scuplting Artist, will display examples of his beautifully crafted pieces made from a large range of different woods. Peter’s exhibition simply entitled “WOOD” will include items such as brooches and mirrors and will open at 2.00p.m. Sunday 8th July and run until Sunday 29th July. In August the Gallery will feature another talented member, Cathy Hutton, in her exhibition titled “BOTTONI RINNOVATI - Vintage Italian Button Creativity” The buttons Cathy discovers in Italy are far too unusual to stay hidden in nonna’s button box or on the dusty shelves of a forgotten village button shop. Cathy rescues them from oblivion and fashions them into stunning one-off decorative pieces including brooches and necklaces.
