Established in 1960, Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (YUTCM) is among the 

second group of Traditional Chinese Medicine universities set up nationwide. The university 

has the right to confer the master degree. The university has 10 faculties: Basic Medicine, 

Clinical Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Nursing, Traditional Chinese Pharmacy, 

Pharmacology, Folk Medicine, Humanities, International Education, Continuing Education and 

2 departments: Sports and ideology and politics. The university offers 19 undergraduate 

programs in the domains of medicine, science, engineering and management, and 25 graduate 

programs. While still laying stress on Traditional Chinese Medicine, the university paid special 

attention to the development of Folk Medicine and relative disciplines actively. In December 

2012, there were 7,581 undergraduates, 520 graduates. There were also on campus 

approximately 100 long-term international students from 20 countries. Among them, there 

was 62 Degree-Seeking students.

Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine was founded in 1959, moving to Xian yang city, 

Shaanxi province in 1961, the first ancient capital city of Qin dynasty in the Chinese feudal 

society. Our university is one of the first colleges of TCM in the northwest of China for 

cultivating high-level talents on traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacology. Our university 

is one of the eight key-constructive universities on TCM confirmed by the central government’s 

No.56 document in 1978 and is one of the first-batches for right to confer master degree of 

TCM granted by Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council in 1981. Our university is 

granted as one of the higher education institutes which enjoy Chinese Government 

Scholarship.

Since 1986 when it started to enroll foreign students and students from India, Pakistan, 

Bangladesh, Africa, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan, the university has 

successively established such organizations as the Foreign Affairs Department, Overseas 

Education school and Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Affairs’ Office, which serve as a relatively 

independent facility, providing overseas students with the teaching and the affiliated facilities;

HAINAN MEDICAL UNIVERSITY is one of the prestigious university of China, located in capital of 

HAINAN province called HAIKOU. Near Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen…. 

Location: In Haikou city, Hainan Province. Near Hong Kong and Macau 

Course offered MBBS and post-graduation in English. 

Course duration is 6 year including one year internship (Optional) students can do internship in 

Pakistan, China and Malaysia. Malaysia internship will be paid from 300 to 500 MR in 

SARAWAK GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Ningbo University is a dynamic, young and comprehensive university with a wide range of

Founded in 1959, the new campus of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is 

located at the foot of scenic Meiling Mountain range on the western outskirts of the capital, 

Nanchang City. Since its foundation, the school has been dedicated to the education of
