Aruba is famed for it sprawling strips<br />
of high-rise and low-rise resorts lining<br />
some of the world’s best beaches,<br />
but as far as avant-garde, boutique<br />
stays on this island, there’s never been a lot<br />
to choose from. But now there is a new<br />
option for an upscale and sophisticated<br />
escape at OceanZ Aruba- far from the<br />
crowded tourist scene- but close enough to<br />
everything so that you never feel isolated.<br />
This stunning new complex offers 13 rooms<br />
including two incredible oceanfront master<br />
suites- all uniquely decorated and each<br />
with a different character. The owner Eva<br />
Zizzu is a well-known fashion designer<br />
from Venezuela (but she has lived on Aruba<br />
for many years,) and decided she would<br />
like to create the kind of stay that she would<br />
seek out when travelling away from her<br />
adopted island home. A place where she<br />
could entertain her guests in style, and<br />
cater to a discerning clientele that expected<br />
more than basic services. So she set out to<br />
create curated experiences and elegant<br />
extras in her new venture, which is<br />
designed to exceed expectations, and she<br />
has succeeded. It is indeed stunning at<br />
every turn.<br />
Though not directly on a beach, it’s close to<br />
a secret swimming spot where you’ll find<br />
some of the island’s best snorkeling, and<br />
they provide transportation as well as<br />
everything you’ll need for an ideal beach<br />
day out at two popular stretches of sand<br />
nearby as well. And the hotel’s location is<br />
one of the best places on the island to view<br />
spectacular sunsets over the water, which<br />
you can also view from their indoor/outdoor<br />
glassed-in dining room.<br />
Full breakfast is included in the rate and<br />
there is a private chef to cater to your needs<br />
plus a trendy bar for excellent signature<br />
cocktails. You can enjoy tapas and drinks at<br />
their large saltwater infinity pool while you<br />
lounge in high style as well.<br />
One of the things I like most about this<br />
place is that it’s very swanky without the<br />
stuffiness you often find in this kind of stay.<br />
It really is a refreshing oasis of friendly, and<br />
it exudes barefoot luxury at its bes in every<br />
way.<br />
This spot is also ideal for a small destination<br />
wedding, they can take care of every<br />
detail from start to finish, and you just have<br />
to show up!<br />
