And our travel experiences help us to understand, 

innovate, investigate trends and test with parents

For Traverze we took inspiration from the metropolitan 

maps of our new urban landscape, taking in the 

excitement of trolleys, subways, over ground, 

underground, airports, moving sidewalk and every 

moving experience in between. The subtle chicane 

of a subway line diagram, the curve of an escalator 

handrail and the aerodynamic of a plane wing has 

informed the silhouette of this new, award-winning, 

lovingly engineered, luggage-style stroller.

most famous hottest neighborhoods across the world’s

When we talk about design and engineering at Diono, 

we believe in better. So, when we created the Radian 

and Rainier, we lovingly engineered a seat without 

compromise, constructed for durability, refined for 

journey after journey and assembled by hand. 

Inspired by aeronautical engineering, which made 

our corner of the world in Washington state so famous 

worldwide, we wanted to make a seat that would 

endure. At the heart of these tried and tested seats, 

you will find a mechanically engineered dual spine, 

fabricated from automotive grade high strength steel, 

with inherent integrity year after year, mile 

after wondrous mile. 

This unusual and meticulously fabricated compact 

core, manages and dissipates energy, and provides 

an unyielding structure to protect and shield. 

Throughout this range of seats, we have shaped 

and structured high density plastics, glass reinforced 

structures and a range of selected ‘closed cell’, 

impact resistant foams through to viscoelastic 

foams for comfort and support.
