NEWBURYPORT – Summer Learn to Skate USA enrollment is now open! The Merrimack Valley Skating Club will hold<br />
classes on Mondays from 5-5:50pm beginning July 9th. What a great way to stay cool this summer! Specialized and fun Learn<br />
to Skate USA classes focus on the basic fundamentals that are important for shaping both hockey and figure skating skill<br />
development. Learn to Skate USA is endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey and US Speed Skating. Skaters have the<br />
chance to earn skill-badges throughout the series. Student to coach ratio is kept low and classes are available for skaters age<br />
3 through adult. Classes run as 6-8 week sessions continuously throughout the year. The Merrimack Valley Skating Club is<br />
a non-profit organization that was established in 2005. Each member of the Merrimack Valley Skating Club coaching staff<br />
is a credentialed professional who has successfully completed a comprehensive background screening process through the<br />

ROWLEY - Harmonica Workshop with Mike and Beverly at the Rowley Public Library on Saturday, July 14, 10-11:30 am.<br />
Learn to play the harmonica! This workshop is for adults and children ages 9 and up. You will walk away knowing how to<br />
play a song! Mike and Beverly will teach you several simple songs and basic techniques, so you will be able to continue to learn<br />
on your own. Mike Rogers has been playing the harmonica since he was 15, and Mike and Beverly have been presenting these<br />
workshops for the past 30 years, from Maine to Georgia and throughout the Bahamas. Harmonicas donated by the Friends<br />
of the Library (yours to keep) or bring your own! Sign-ups are appreciated but not required, as space is limited. The Rowley<br />

ROWLEY - Rowley Public Library will host Magic: The Gathering Day, Saturday,<br />
July 21, and August <strong>18</strong> from <strong>12</strong>-3 pm. First published in 1993 by Wizards of<br />
the Coast, Magic The Gathering was the first trading card game created and it<br />
continues to thrive to this very day with millions of players all over the world.<br />
Magic can be played by two or more players in various formats and is best suited<br />
to players age 5 and up. We are thrilled to have Michael J Geary and Josh Brown<br />
both with over 23 years of playing experience back with us for these two summer<br />
events. Michael is formally a level 1 Judge and ranked #1 in the Military. Josh has<br />
been playing since the game came into existence. Michael and Josh will teach new<br />
comers the ins and outs of getting started in the world of Magic The Gathering.<br />
They will also challenge more experienced players to help build their skill set and<br />
endurance. Come to learn, play, watch or trade. We look forward to seeing you<br />

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING<br />
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, the<br />
Rowley Protective Zoning Bylaw, and the Rowley Planning Board<br />
Rules and Regulations, the Rowley Planning Board will conduct a<br />
Public Hearing on Wednesday, July <strong>18</strong>, 20<strong>18</strong> at 7:50 p.m. in the Town<br />
Hall 2nd floor auditorium 139 Main Street, Rowley, MA, pertaining<br />
to Special Permit/Site Plan Review application involving the operation<br />
of a Marijuana product manufacturer operation in units 2 and 3 of the<br />
commercial building located at 319 Newburyport Turnpike also identified<br />
as Assessors’ Map 17, Lot 20-48<br />
The application is submitted by Ed Morando of Morando Brands, LLC,<br />
87 Main Street, North Reading on behalf of Ed Surette (Josur LLC),<br />
property owner. The site is located in the Business Light Industry<br />
(BLI) Zoning District.<br />
Approval of a Special Permit/Site Plan Review is required for Marijuana<br />
product manufacturer operations in the Business Light Industry<br />
(BLI) Zoning District, pursuant to Section 4.7.3.(l) (Use Regulations),<br />
Section 4.13.4 (Product Manufacturers, Cultivators, Laboratories), Section<br />
7.6 (Site Plan Review), and Section 7.8 (Special Permits), of the<br />
Rowley Protective Zoning Bylaw.<br />
The applications, plans, and relevant documents are on file with the<br />
Rowley Planning Board, and are available for public inspection at the<br />
Rowley Planning Board Office, Town Hall Annex, 39 Central Street,<br />
